Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work primarily Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays (1-2 per month)
• Perform 16-18 mammography exams per shift
• Work with 2 mammography rooms serving approximately 25 visits per day
• Competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures including biopsies and needle localization procedures
• Work independently exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills
• Execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner
• Provide competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication
• Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures
• May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff
• Required certifications: CRT, RHM, BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• State Mammography License required (ARRT not required with valid state license)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• 4 hours of orientation provided
• Skills include 3-D mammography, digital quality assurance procedures, Hologic 3D equipment, radiation safety, and screening mammograms
