Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Sunday through Thursday schedule with no call responsibilities
• Must start between June 1st and June 15th
• 2 years of experience required
• CT and diagnostic X-ray experience preferred, will consider candidates with strong X-ray experience and travel background
• Required certifications: TMB, ARRT (R), and BLS
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform various imaging procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis studies with and without contrast
• Handle emergency department and ICU imaging needs
• Experience with trauma imaging and Level II Trauma Center procedures
• Administer contrast media and maintain radiation safety protocols
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Work with specialized equipment including Philips CT 128 + 256 slice scanners, Fuji Diagnostic X-ray, and Shimadzu Diagnostic Portables
• Complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• All documentation due 3 business days prior to start date
• Orientation includes 2-3 hours of modules completed during first 16 hours

The facility provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services. The organization maintains state-of-the-art imaging equipment and serves as a Level II Trauma Center, providing critical care services to the community.
