Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday through Monday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call and holiday coverage required
• Daily caseload of approximately 150 cases
• Operate advanced imaging equipment including 3D, GE C-Arm, Medtronic O-Arm, OEC & Elite GE C-Arm in OR & Endoscopy, AMS 4 GE Mobile units
• Work across multiple settings: Outpatient, Inpatient, Operating Room, ER, NICU, PICU, Adult ICU
• Perform various X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, fluoroscopy studies, enema studies, and surgery/C-Arm
• Experience with PACS, portables, C-Arm, and contrast required
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
• Epic charting system required
• Must complete up to 8 hours of non-billable modules within 1 week of signing
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology
• Virginia State Radiologic Technologist License required (temporary license acceptable for 90 days)
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at same rate

This 431-bed short-term acute care hospital serves as a Level II Trauma Center providing comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility features a busy 50-bed emergency department, multiple ICUs, NICU, and operates with high-volume portable imaging and OR services 7 days a week. The hospital maintains advanced medical technology and equipment to support complex patient care needs across various specialties and age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
