RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x9 hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No call requirements, weekends, or floating
• Holiday coverage as needed
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratio of 1:1 across all shifts
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only), PALS preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Pennsylvania nursing license required with no license hits accepted
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Must complete pre-start modules (5-6 hours, billable)
• EKG exam must be completed and passed within 72 hours of signing contract
• Conduct thorough pre-procedural assessments and patient education
• Monitor patient status during procedures including vital signs and hemodynamic stability
• Provide post-procedural care including recovery monitoring and discharge instructions
• Rotate through CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology suites
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Administer moderate sedation and medications per protocol
• Care for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates as a Level 1 Trauma Hospital with a specialized imaging department that provides comprehensive interventional radiology services. The facility features a dynamic and fast-paced unit with 6 beds and serves approximately 35 patients daily. The imaging department offers state-of-the-art technology including CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology suites, supported by interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services.
