Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM depending on the day
• Weekend call only required
• On-call responsibilities include weekday call 1-2 nights per week and weekend call every 4-6 weekends
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
• Will assist in X-ray department when interventional radiology is not busy
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, Kansas License (LRT)
• Must have Epic EMR and PACS experience
• Extensive interventional radiology skills required including aortography, embolization, stent placement, angiography procedures, and various catheter/drainage procedures
• Equipment experience with GE Innova IGS required
• Must maintain sterile technique and handle isolation precautions/PPE
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
