RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 3x12 shift schedule
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Weekends and holidays required per unit needs
• Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Must be skilled in ER holding, telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Scrub color requirement: Caribbean Blue
• Compact license or MD license required
• Two supervisory references required, including one from most recent assignment
• Must have Cerner charting system experience (preferred)
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including congestive heart failure, MI, atrial fibrillation, cardiac dysrhythmias, stroke/TIA, renal disease, and more
• Work with specialized equipment including ceiling lifts, 12-lead EKGs, and telestroke technology
• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment

This healthcare facility features a 34-bed telemetry unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The unit maintains a daily census of 27 patients and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including ceiling lifts in every room and telestroke capabilities for enhanced patient care and safety.
