RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekends and holidays included
• No call required
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• May take IMCU patients if needed based on census
• Must be proficient with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI
• 1 year of experience required
• Must have experience with patient ratio of 6
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
• Required skills: Heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, MS/Tele, titration of insulin drips, Lasix drips experience
• Float to like acuities or less if needed
• Work with patient population including cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedic patients
• Team consists of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/US, and unit secretaries
• Must be from outside 50-mile radius
• Adult patient age group
