RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• ASAP start date required
• ADN required, BSN preferred
• Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing required
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required with 12 weekend shifts per contract
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients and leadership within nursing team
• Care for wide range of patients from neonates to geriatrics
• Work with advanced equipment including IABP, ECMO, and Impella Heart Pump
• Utilize nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to promote evidence-based care
• Position is safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593

This healthcare facility features a 17-bed ICU/CSICU staffed by highly-trained professionals who provide comprehensive critical care services. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and specializes in cardiovascular care including coronary artery bypass grafting, thoracotomy, carotid stenting, and heart valve procedures. The facility offers advanced therapies with specialized equipment and maintains a culture of professionalism, integrity, and respect while pursuing Magnet designation. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services.
