Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule
• Guaranteed hours: 8 and 10 hour shifts equal 40 hours in one workweek, or 3 twelve-hour shifts equal 36 hours in one workweek, or 4 twelve-hour shifts equal 48 hours in one workweek
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, CNMT or NMTCB, Indiana license must be in hand
• May float to other facilities based on need
• Local candidates accepted
• Pending state licenses not accepted - Indiana license and required certifications must be in hand to submit
• Required scrub color: Royal Blue

• Cerner charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans, cardiac studies, renal scans, liver imaging, and various nuclear cardiology procedures
• Handle radioactive materials with proper safety protocols
• Start and maintain IVs as needed
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

This short-term acute care hospital provides comprehensive nuclear medicine services with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and technology. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The nuclear medicine department serves adult and geriatric patients with a full range of diagnostic nuclear imaging procedures.
