RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Three shifts per week schedule
• Every third weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for all shifts
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: NIHSS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Maximum 7-day requested time off policy
• Floating may be required to rehab unit as needed
• Manager interview required
• Clinical pre-screening process
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with medical telemetry needs
• Support patients with metabolic disorders, stable cardiovascular issues, renal concerns, GI bleeds, substance withdrawal, diabetes, and respiratory conditions
• Manage peritoneal dialysis patients
• Skills include blood product administration, central line care, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, isolation precautions, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and rapid response team utilization
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• COVID-19 vaccine required with exemptions allowed
• Flu vaccine required with medical exemptions only
• EKG exam must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)
