Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options
• Schedule options include 5x8s (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, occasionally 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or 4x10s (staggered shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM with 30-minute lunch)
• 13-week contract duration only
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• No call requirements or weekend coverage required
• Float coverage required between two clinical sites approximately 25-30 minutes apart
• Must wear royal blue scrubs (not provided)
• Required certifications: ARRT T and BLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Will accept first-time travelers
• Work with adult acute care patients using equipment including Varian linacs, CT simulators, and TrueBeam technology
• Skills include CBCT/kV/mV imaging, IMRT, radiation safety, and use of ARIA charting system
• Will NOT be expected to cut blocks, perform CT sims alone, or perform dose calculations
• Always paired with at least one other therapist and MD/RN on-site throughout the day
• Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved (no holidays)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• May be assigned to Storm Team/Hurricane Team for catastrophic events
• Can start directly at clinic with no orientation or dimensions training required
