RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule
• On-call requirement for evenings and weekends
• Minimum 18 months RN experience required, 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS
• Must be proficient with balloon pump, Impella, atherectomy devices, cardiac medication drips, and emergency medications
• STEMI experience required
• Skills required include interventional radiology, angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography
• Must be competent in interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, pressure ulcer assessment/prevention, sheath removal/monitoring
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), radiation and laser safety, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale required
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Must complete time-sensitive modules averaging 6-15 hours pre-start and annually
• Must be nicotine-free with negative 10 panel + nicotine drug screen within 12 months of start
• No license hits accepted
• Smoke-free facility with strict compliance requirements
