RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation required with every other weekend coverage
• Holiday coverage as needed
• No call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients per nurse
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first-time travelers accepted with surgery/trauma experience preferred)
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Subject to float between all facility campuses if needed
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Specialize in care of stable trauma patients and pre-op/post-op surgical patient care
• Care for high-volume populations including exploratory surgeries, hemi-colectomies, mastectomies, cholecystectomies, eye surgeries, trauma and plastic surgeries
• Manage palliative care patients, 24-hour observation patients, and medical overflow patients
• Skills required include blood product administration, peripheral line care and management, and rapid response team utilization
• Work with specialized equipment including lift equipment, wound vacs, and Coude catheters
