RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule
• 18 months ICU experience required, 2 years preferred
• Must have experience with both cardiac and neuro patients as ICU is mixed with both
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic experience required at level 3 or 4
• Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20-mile radius (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• White scrubs required
• Free parking in any unrestricted space
• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Time-sensitive modules required (6-15 hours, non-billable) completed pre-start
• All RTO must be included at time of submission
• Two references from direct supervisor/manager required
• No pending certifications accepted
• Skills include cardiovascular intensive care, dysrhythmia management, post-cardiac surgery care, IABP management, ventilator care, and arterial blood gas interpretation
