RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours or 8/10 hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours
• 18 months ICU experience required, 2 years preferred
• Must have experience with cardiac and neuro patients as ICU is mixed with both
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic experience required at level 3 or 4
• Will float to all 3 hospitals within scope (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• White scrub color required
• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Complete time-sensitive modules pre-start (6-15 hours, non-billable)
• Skills include cardiovascular intensive care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IABP, post-cardiac surgery care, pulmonary artery line monitoring, arterial line management, central line care, IV sedation, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation, and isolation precautions
• All requested time off must be included at time of submission
• First-time travelers accepted
• No pending certifications accepted
