RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 10-bed Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU) providing care to critically ill and postoperative patients 18 years and older
• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend schedule required for duration of contract
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• May float to all ICU floors and medical-surgical floors if needed
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC experience heavily preferred and required
• Must pass EKG exam on first attempt within 72 hours of signing contract or risk cancellation
• Pre-screen unit review by clinical staff required before manager interview
• Charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Care for patients recovering from open heart surgery, cardiothoracic procedures, and cardiovascular surgeries
• Manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, arrhythmia monitoring and intervention
• Experience with IABP management, CRRT utilization, VAD management, and ECMO required
• Work with specialized equipment including Hemosphere's/Accuman, Impella's, CRRT, TVP's, ECMO, tandem, LVAD's, Swan Ganz catheters
• Complete 5-6 hours of pre-start modules that are billable
• Maximum 7-day return to orientation period
• Clean nursing license required with no license hits accepted
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
