Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• True Beams experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, and Associates Degree from accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program
• EPIC experience required
• Must complete pre-start modules (5-6 hours, billable)
• Daily census of 65-70 patients
• Work with adult patients providing radiation therapy treatments
• Operate external beam therapy equipment including IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy)
• Perform tumor localization, custom molds, custom shields, and block cutting
• Utilize CBCT/kV/mV imaging and compensation filters
• Calculate radiation doses using Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian) systems
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Clinical pre-screening and manager interview required

Loved the people! Found them really easy to work with and they have a lot of very knowledgeable staff members. As long as you know what you’re doing and willing to help out in any way they are more than happy to work with you!
Cons
Sometimes the schedule can be confusing with rotating shifts and call schedules that don’t align well with your scheduled shifts. But again if there is a major concern they’ll try and work with you on it!

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
