RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work rotating shifts with weekend coverage required
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 22-bed ICU unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• 2 years of experience required with previous charge experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Valid PA License or Compact License required at time of submission
• May float within hospital when needed and to other sister facilities within 10-mile radius
• Required to work every other holiday
• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• Must complete drug screen and labs within 24-48 hours of signing
• All travelers must be cleared by Wednesday before start
• Must clock in and out using badge with time sheets signed by supervisor or manager
• Non-billable modules required prior to entering facility (approximately 1 hour to complete)
• Extensive ICU skills required including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac drip titration, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 22-bed intensive care unit providing critical care services for adult and geriatric patients. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires completion of mandatory training modules for all clinical staff prior to facility entry.
