RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - SICU

Job Details:

• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• May float to all ICU floors
• Maximum 7 days RTO (Request Time Off)
• No call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• 10-bed unit specializing in surgical intensive care
• Manage patients with complex medical conditions including vascular surgeries, EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, radical neck procedures, Whipple procedures, and gynecologic oncology surgeries
• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT and wound VAC systems
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator care, central line management, vasoactive drip titration, and blood product administration
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Manager interview required
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)
