RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH and CPI (will accept MAB in lieu of CPI)
• Patient ratios: 1:5-6 during days, 1:6 during nights
• Float required to other Med/Surg units, forensics, ED, and post partum units
• Must be comfortable working with prison population
• Weekend coverage required: 6 shifts every 6 weeks
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 18 bed unit serving underserved, underinsured, homeless, and insured patients
• Skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, PCA, peripheral line care, starting and maintaining IVs
• Tennessee state license or multi-state compact license required
• All compliance requirements due Wednesday prior to start
• HealthStream approvals required 12 days prior to start
• Labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing
• Pre-start modules required (non-billable, approximately 2 hours)
