Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week (8/10-hour shifts), 36 hours per week (3 12-hour shifts), or 48 hours per week (4 12-hour shifts)
• On-call requirements include rotating call coverage for one week at a time covering all after hours, including Saturday and Sunday
• Weekend coverage required for call responsibilities
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Required certifications: BLS, CNMT or NMTCB (must be in hand to submit)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, first-timers accepted
• Must be able to multitask and work as a team player in adult and nuclear cardiology settings
• Perform gastric emptying, HIDA scan, MUGA scan, 3 phase, whole body bone scan, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation/perfusion studies
• Handle exercise/rest-multiple and pharmacological stress procedures
• Maintain isolation precautions and start/maintain peripheral IVs
• Responsible for storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Use Cerner charting system
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Free parking provided

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
