Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment with ASAP start date
• Call requirements include approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Must be willing to float within the site and across the system as requested
• Refusal to float will result in contract cancellation
• Scrub experience required with ability to act as first assistant to operator
• Perform complex cardiac interventions utilizing advanced equipment
• Handle cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Work with equipment including OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, drug coated balloons
• Assist with insertion of Impella CP, RP, 5.5, IABP, balloon/stent prep and deployment
• Support pericardiocentesis procedures and maintain sterile field
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, OBMI (Oregon state license)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must complete assigned education within one week of assignment
• Low census mandatory cancellation terms apply with 1.5 hour notice requirement
• Cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility

Facility:

This acute care hospital is a 554-bed teaching facility and Level I Trauma center that features a brand new catheterization laboratory with seven state-of-the-art rooms equipped with Philips Azurion systems. The facility offers dedicated private call rooms with showers for Cath Lab staff and has dedicated EVS/turnover staff available seven days per week including overnight. The laboratory features western-facing windows providing excellent views and maintains the latest technology for complex cardiac interventions.
