Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Perform EP cases one day per week and Cath/IR cases the remaining three days per week
• Work with 4 rooms ratio
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have EP training and procedural experience
• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab and EP Lab work setting experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab procedural experience required
• Required certifications: BLS
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Cerner EMR preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating within scope
• Travel experience required
• Florida license or compact license required
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• Skills include cardiac ablation, mapping, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and interventional procedures
• Work with patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• As EP program grows, EP duties will expand and Cath/IR duties will diminish
• Pass/fail EKG exam required (3 attempts allowed)
• Complete modules pre-start and annually

This 223-bed short-term acute care facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular services including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The facility features a growing EP program alongside established cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology services. The organization maintains a smoke-free environment and uses Cerner charting systems to support quality patient care and documentation.
