Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts with schedule options of 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 11:30 AM-8:00 PM
• Occasional Saturday and evening shifts required
• Weekend coverage required with 7 weekend shifts per contract
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Must have 2 years recent relevant experience required for submission
• Must be graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience
• Required certifications: BLS, CRT (R)(M), ARRT (R)(M) - all certifications must be AHA and in hand at time of submittal
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must provide 7-year work history verification
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Valid California state license required at time of submission
• 50 mile travel requirement - locals accepted at local rate
• May float to other locations if census is low on home unit
• Perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, screening mammograms
• Handle stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, fine needle aspirations
• Work with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment
• Serve patients including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 150 visits per day
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (average 1-5 hours)

The facility provides both inpatient and outpatient services with advanced 3-D mammography capabilities and stereotactic biopsy procedures. The organization maintains strict quality standards and offers extensive support services including interpretation services and radiology support, serving approximately 150 patients daily in their mammography services.
