RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 84 hours biweekly with 72 hour guarantee
• Must agree to 36/48 hour alternating schedule or straight 48s
• Must be agreeable to floating between PCU and Med Surg units
• Weekend coverage required as needed, which may include most weekends during contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated but set schedules cannot be approved
• Patient ratios: 5:1 during days, 6:1 during nights
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience and travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must have experience with extensive PCU/stepdown skills including cardiac telemetry, central line management, chest tubes, vasoactive drip titration, cardiac drip management, post-cardiac procedures, and wound care
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• License must be in-hand before start date
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Local candidates within 50 mile radius not accepted
