RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week schedule
• Required to work 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks
• Holiday coverage as needed
• No call requirements
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio experience of 4-5 patients
• Handle approximately 180 visits per day in a 63-bed emergency department
• Care for adult patients with various emergency conditions
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, PALS, TNCC
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Level 2 Trauma Center experience preferred
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Subject to float to any campus if needed
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Complete compliance modules averaging 2-4 hours (non-billable)
• Strict zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Full compliance file required by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
