Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts from 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM with rotating days off
• Work in Brachytherapy department performing procedures, HDR treatments, and radiopharmaceutical administrations
• Opportunity to cross-train in proton, external beam, simulation and pick up overtime shifts
• No weekends or holidays required
• No previous brachytherapy experience required
• Must pass NRC Radiation safety exam within first 2 weeks of contract (exam materials provided)
• Daily caseload of 8-15 patients
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT (T)
• No on-call requirements
• No floating to sister facilities required
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed
• Must run HDR units, assist in brachytherapy implants, and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Sensitivity training highly preferred
• Use Epic charting system
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
