Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech
Job Details:
• Work 5x8 hour shifts with variable start times from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality diagnostic images
• Operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment
• Assist physicians during radiological diagnostic and invasive procedures
• Work independently with sound clinical judgment and developed skills
• Provide patient education on procedures, medications, and contrast media
• Complete accurate documentation including screening and consent forms
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, calibration, and quality control
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards following ALARA principles
• Perform general clerical tasks including phone duties and EHR updates
• Mentor students and new technologists in department operations
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, X-Ray Tech License, CA Fluoro License
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Work with patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Complete orientation modules through e-learning system

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
