RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of recent/consecutive ICU experience in hospital/acute care setting required
• Travel experience required - no first time travelers
• Must be willing to float to other campus ICU units (Bucyrus & Galion) if census drops to maintain hours
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Typical staffing ratios are 3:1
• Must make up all missed shifts
• If scheduled to work weekend during RTO, traveler must find coverage
• If placed on-call, must return to facility within 1 hour
• No more than 7 days time off requests accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Knowledge of medication scanning required
• Epic experience preferred
• Valid state license required - pending licenses not accepted
• Up to 8 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start via HealthStream
• Skills include: management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care/management, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, suctioning, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Smoke-free facility and campus
• Two recent supervisory references required
