Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5 x 8-hour varied shifts covering day and evening hours from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend and evening shifts required as needed
• Guaranteed 2 consecutive days off per week
• 40 hours of orientation required
• 2 years of recent relevant experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Patient ratios: 3 during days, 2 during nights and weekends
• Work with 2 MRI rooms serving daily census of 36 patients
• Serve patients of all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
• Perform comprehensive MRI imaging including brain, abdomen, chest, extremities, and specialized procedures
• Handle contrast media preparation and administration
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Utilize PACS system for image management and post-processing
• Required certifications: CRT, ARMRIT, or ARRT (MRI), BLS, California Venipuncture certification
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete non-billable e-learning modules during orientation
