RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour night shifts (48 hours per week)
• Patient ratio 1:7 with team nursing support including 2 PCCs, 2 LPNs, 2 RNs, and medication nurses
• Minimum 2 years recent medical surgical experience required
• Level I or Level II trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience preferred
• On-call availability as needed
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall during assignment
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV start and maintenance, telemetry monitoring
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with general medical surgical diagnoses
• Daily census of 46 patients in 48-bed unit
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Active RN license required (compact or state-specific)
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• Driver's license copy required at submission
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
