RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required
• 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) required in a six-week period
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float to ICU, ED, and Med Surg as needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patients primarily with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses
• 2 years of nursing experience required within the last 7 years
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
• ICU experience required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Must have either a compact license or MD license
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Work with specialized equipment including ventilators, IV non-titratable drips, HFNC, and dialysis equipment
• Manage patients requiring cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, and tracheostomy care
• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment
