Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Cardiovascular Technologist - CV Tech

Job Details:

• Provide procedural support to physicians including hemodynamic and electrophysiologic monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique and radiologic support during procedures
• Operate specialized equipment according to protocols including IVUS, pressure wire, IABP, and EPT sources
• Assist physicians with specialized equipment during cardiovascular procedures
• Perform patient care appropriate to the patient population in sterile environments
• Transport patients to and from the department as needed
• Maintain well-stocked and clean work environment through stocking and departmental maintenance
• Perform environmental scrub downs to promote aseptic environment
• Set up procedure rooms each morning including transducers and equipment
• Attend vendor in-services and mandatory training to learn new equipment and technologies
• Complete departmental functions within Epic system
• Communicate with coordinators regarding supply and equipment issues
• Required certifications: ARRT-R and/or RCIS, CPR, and ACLS within one year of employment
• Must have completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program or RCIS credentials
• Required skills: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), BLS, Cath or IR experience, RCIS or ARRT
• Work directly with patients, healthcare professionals, and staff at various levels
