RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Complete assessments and individualize plans of care within established unit and nursing guidelines
• Carry out nursing care with consideration for cultural, psychosocial factors, and ages of individual patients
• Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills appropriate for the patient population
• Demonstrate sound bio-psychosocial knowledge base and professional judgment
• Delegate and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
• Document nursing process and care steps accurately on appropriate records
• Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning
• Make timely and appropriate referrals as needed
• Collaborate with other disciplines and support unit/hospital goals
• Attend mandatory in-services and meet unit education standards
• Previous Cath Lab experience required
• Epic experience (Yale) preferred
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Cupid experience preferred (Muskogee)
• 0-6 months of related experience accepted
• Must demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and efficiently
• Detail-oriented examination of clinical and numerical data required
