Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician
Job Details:
• Perform technical nuclear medicine exams accurately and in a timely fashion
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and radiation detecting devices
• Transfer patients to exam tables and provide correct positioning for procedures
• Perform and document quality control on all equipment to ensure regulatory compliance
• Prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals and contrast materials
• Maintain accurate records of radioisotope shipping, receiving, storage, and disposal per NRC and DEQ policies
• Document room surveys, wipe tests, and bioassays
• Schedule exams, verify physician orders, and send documentation to medical records
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of rooms and equipment
• Stock supplies and linen as needed
• Cross-train in other department technologies as required
• Work directly with patients and healthcare professionals
• Minimum 6 months of related experience required
• Must have minimum 5 years travel experience and PET experience
• Experience with Siemens equipment and Epic required
• Graduate from AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program required
• CNMT certification or ARRT (N) license required
• CPR certification required
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
