Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in ICU setting
• 2+ years of Trauma Level 1 ICU experience required
• Must be available to work Christmas day (12/25)
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in hospital setting
• Assess and provide care for patients with complex medical problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and plan patient care
• Assess patient readiness to learn and developmental factors affecting learning ability
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning activities
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare organization standards, policies and procedures
• Required: North Carolina RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
• Required education: Nursing diploma or ADN/ASN from accredited nursing school
• Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited nursing school
• Minimum one year of nursing experience required
