Opportunity:

Cardiovascular Technologist - Cardiovascular Technologist I

Job Details:

• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor
• Deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders
• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques
• Perform diverse range of diagnostic, interventional and/or surgical procedures
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure all elements are completed and documented
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance per manufacturer instructions
• On-call requirements: approximately 8 shifts per month with 30-minute response time
• Must have Level 1 experience (Level 2 may be considered)
• Required education: Associate's degree from CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program, JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program, or completion of Paramedic training
• Required certifications: AHA BLS and must meet ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) eligibility within 12 months of hire
• Must demonstrate ability to work in team environment and handle stressful situations
• Requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cardiovascular/radiologic technologies
• Must maintain accurate records and exercise sound judgment with confidential information

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
