Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care
• Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to health care team
• Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals
• Overtime billed after 48 hours
• Required: 2+ recent years of experience as a PCU/Stepdown/Tele nurse
• Required: Experience with medication drips
• Required: ACLS/BLS in hand from the AHA
• Current Michigan State Board of Nursing licensure required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Must possess clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform wide variety of professional nursing services
• Must effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
