Opportunity:

RN - ICU Neuro

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients in the neurological intensive care unit
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observe manifestations and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills needed
• Computer skills required
