Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 1.0 FTE day shift - open to 8 or 10-hour shifts (to be discussed in interview)
• On-call and weekend coverage as needed (to be discussed in interview)
• Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required
• Minimum 2 years current experience required in large OR
• Must be able to scrub
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• Required certifications: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS (through AHA, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
• Preferred certifications: PALS and ACLS
• Required education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Epic experience preferred but not required - training available on-site
• Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience a plus
• Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care during assigned shifts
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document according to policy
• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing
