Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shift schedule (1.0 FTE)
• On-call and weekend coverage required as needed by the unit
• Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required
• Two years current experience in specialty required
• At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required
• Must be flexible team player accustomed to fast-paced environment
• EPIC experience preferred (training available on-site)
• Must pass BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmias) testing during first week of assignment
• Required certifications: New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Required education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients
• Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols
• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population-specific education and competency testing per unit standards
