Description
Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule includes 3 shifts per week (36 hours weekly)
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday rotation required
• 13-week assignment duration
• 3 years of Progressive Care Unit experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Michigan nursing license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be familiar with cardiac progressive drips, dressing changes, and cardiac post-procedural care
• Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care
• Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document patient care and family teaching
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to healthcare team
• Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals
• Perform wide variety of professional nursing services within progressive care setting
• Interview process includes 30-minute MS Teams session

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
