Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Night shift only position
• Must be available to start no later than 3 weeks from offer acceptance
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• May be asked to float to other units including lockdown unit based on acuity needs
• Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality patient care
• Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to healthcare team
• Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals
• Formulate effective nursing care plans within assigned unit/department
• Perform wide variety of professional nursing services
• 2+ years of general medical-surgical unit experience required
• At least one year of surgical floor experience highly preferred
• Current Michigan State Board of Nursing licensure required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• BSN degree preferred
• Graduation from accredited school of nursing required
