Opportunity:
Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech
Job Details:
• Entry-level position under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor
• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm completion and documentation per department protocols
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical data/findings
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting per manufacturer guidelines
• Work in various care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient practices, and diagnostic centers
• Associate's degree or higher required
• Must obtain one of the following certifications: ARDMS (RDCS or RVT), ARRT (Vascular or Cardiac Interventional Radiography), CCI (RCCS, RCS, RCIS, or RVS), or ARRT Radiography
• BLS certification required
• Must demonstrate ability to work as part of a team, handle confidential information, and multi-task in stressful situations
• Knowledge of cardiovascular and radiologic technologies, medical terminology, and anatomy required
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
