Opportunity:

Radiographer II - Radiographer II

Job Details:

• Work Saturday and Monday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM (38 hours/week)
• Perform advanced level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations
• Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies
• Conduct specialized imaging procedures including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography
• Assist physicians with specialized imaging procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and film output problems
• Act as resource and preceptor for other radiographers and students
• May participate in training programs for Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Special Procedures
• Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for assigned areas
• Circulate to diagnostic radiology areas including surgery, trauma, and pediatrics as assigned
• Assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages
• Communicate technical information effectively to patients and families
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI credentials, AHA BLS
• Graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program or JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program required
• One year full-time experience as certified radiologic technology professional preferred
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
