Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a Trauma Level 1 environment
• One year of nursing experience required
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in hospital setting
• Assess readiness to learn of patients, families, and caregivers
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions for patient care evaluation
• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
• Collaborate with patients and families to prepare and update care plans
• Required education: Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school of nursing
• Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited school of nursing
• Must be licensed as Registered Nurse in North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs and attend education programs
• Promote safe, clean and secure hospital environment for all
