Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• One year of nursing experience required
• Trauma Level 1 experience required and mandatory
• North Carolina RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school required (BSN or MSN preferred)
• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for patient care evaluation
• Utilize healthcare organization standards, policies, and procedures
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems
• Participate in professional development and unit performance improvement activities
