Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II

Job Details:

• Work in a four-person team environment handling 12-20 cases per day
• Responsible for scrubbing in and setting up procedure tables
• Must have Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum one year experience scrubbing within Cath Lab, Diagnostics, PCIs, Impellas, Balloon Pumps, and Peripheral diagnostic interventions
• Structural Heart and EP (electrophysiology) experience preferred but not required
• IR experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in sterile environment for extended periods
• Must be able to wear lead aprons weighing up to 5 lbs for undetermined amounts of time
• Assist with patient transfers to and from procedure tables with team assistance
• Monitor diagnostic cardiac catheter procedures and percutaneous interventions
• Perform cardiac outputs, O2 saturations, and ACT measurements
• Demonstrate understanding of cardiac, vascular, respiratory, and renal physiology
• Recognize ECG waveform morphology and respond to lethal arrhythmias
• Calculate basic hemodynamic parameters using recording computer
• Work with Merge Hemo and Merge Cardio programs
• Must maintain team-first mentality and help when needed
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of accredited program in Allied Health Sciences required
