Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Work on both step-down and medical surgical units
• ONS/ONCC certification required (fundamentals may be considered)
• Experience with chemotherapy and oncology patients required
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observing patient manifestations and intervening when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge
• Make referrals to appropriate personnel for patient care needs
• Delegate tasks to support staff
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Computer skills necessary

Everyone is pretty friendly, good location , Oklahoma City is a fun place to stay, you get to make your own schedule

No techs at night, tough 3:1/4:1 ratios, hem/onc but open to all types of patients (also an earring disorder unit now), older facility and rooms are TINY

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
