Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
• Variable start times usually between 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM with weekly rotation
• Weekend and evening call responsibilities split between two technologists
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist working in Cardiac and Vascular Sonography required
• Must be proficient in both Cardiac and Vascular ultrasound cases
• Work with 5 ultrasound suites equipped with Philips equipment
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ARDMS registration, RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification
• Must complete MOAB certification if not already holding CPI or MOAB certification (cost $150)
• Skills checklist completed within one year of submittal required
• Annual specialty competency exam with 80% passing rate required
• Must complete Joint Commission Core competencies I, II, and III
• Respiratory fit test required for 3M N95 or 1860 models

This community hospital operates a comprehensive imaging department with multiple ultrasound suites utilizing modern Philips equipment. The facility recently launched its Cardiology program in 2022 and provides both cardiac and vascular ultrasound services to the community. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires specialized training for crisis prevention and management of aggressive behavior to ensure a safe healthcare environment.
